If you haven’t received your December issue of Powder Magazine yet (and if you’re not a subscriber, why on earth not?) get yourself to a newsstand and check out Porter Fox’s incredible feature on Sugarloaf and the Sugarloaf 2020 plan. The spread spans an incredible ten pages, and features many of the classic Sugarloaf characters we all know and love. The photos by Vermont-based photographer Justin Cash are nothing short of extraordinary, too.

The story also discusses the 2020 plan, calling it one of the “largest expansions the East has ever seen.” Porter spent a couple of weeks at Sugarloaf last season, hanging out with locals, exploring new terrain in Brackett Basin, and as a former Mainer and Sugarloafer himself, gets right to the heart and soul of Sugarloaf in his story.

It’s an absolute must-read for any Sugarloafers out there, and a great reminder of why it is we love this place like we do.
